I really enjoyed this follow-up story. Everything Ms. Grant writes is always on point!!! It was great to see what was going on with Ahdon and Kamryn and if Darnell could truly be a one woman man. I knew something was up with that broken clock and gift or not it would have been trashed. Great twist near the end with the person actually wreaking havoc. I am excited about reading some more about Damian...I love his style right away and can't wait to see how him and Chelsea come full circle. I am also ready to read more on The Between the Love Series and will there be a follow-up with Blaze? I am patiently awaiting the next great novel......
I am just in love with this story of two grown-up people.This is such a refreshing take on this kind of story to see two people rise above their former lives and still stand firm.This was a story of what true love feels like and looks.There writer makes you feel those things and want those things for Darnell and Lorrisa.Also you get to see grown men take and handle business,without being afraid to voice there fears.This was an excellent addition to the first story and welcomed.I however have a few concerns and that with a story this good I expected the typos to be to a minimum.This was not the case,they came at some critical times and you become a little frustrated.There are few steps missing leading into the final scene,but you overlook this because the ending is done so well.I have a feeling we will see this group again and I hope so.This is bookshelf worthy.
Love Darnell n Ahdon the ladies were ladies of my heart. I like that u didn't make them successful by selling drugs, they were men with a dream and went after them. I love that you had them graduate from universities. They all married. Good writing
This was a good follow up. Always somebody who can't get the memo, to just move on when someone doesn't want you. Good read
This was a good spinoff about those two. The live they share I can only pray I come across it in my lifetime.

I love reading a Danielle Grant book, because her male characters know how to love and protect their women. Darnell and Lorissa, have been through so much, but just when they think all the drama has ended more ugliness raises its head. Come walk through the pages with Darnell and Lorissa and find out what they have to endure and will they be able to overcome.
I can't wait until the next installment. This was a awesome book. Hope we don't have to wait too long.
